Title: Our education Concept

The fundamental task of our high school is to maintain high quality and efficiency of education, acting as a source of good candidates for universities. Under the guideline of developing in all aspects with specialization in certain fields, we always encourage the teachers to have special features in their lessons and the students to pursue their interests.

Our high school was in first batch of Traditional School for Basketball of Beijing in 1986 and won the title of National Traditional School for Basketball in 1996.We were champion for inter junior high school and senior high school competition in Beijing for 7 consecutive years between 1991 and 1998.

The school basketball team has represented Beijing for national inter-high school competition twice and won the 7th and 8th places respectively.We were named the Traditional School for Dance of Beijing in 1996.The school dance team has won second prize and first prize respectively in the second and fourth arts festival of high school and primary school students.We have won over 170 individual prizes and 20 team prizes in Beijing and Haidian District level subjects competitions including mathematics, physics, chemistry, English, computer science.

In 1991, student Cao Han Zheng has won gold medal in International Russian Language Olympic Competition. In 1998, 5 students won first, second and third prizes in the tenth English Competition for Junior High School Students in Beijing. It was 1/6 of the total number of awards given out.We have won the team prize for 3 consecutive years in Physics Competition for Junior High School Students in Beijing.

Between 1980 and 1998, there was average 90% of our graduates entered universities. About 70% were in privileged universities. Since 1992 until now, the total number of our graduates that entered Qing Hua University and Beijing University ranked the 7th most in Beijing. Between 1994 and 1996, the average score of our students in the university entrance examination ranked top in the Haidian District for 3 consecutive years. Until 1997, the average score of our students in the senior high school entrance examination has been ranking top in the district for consecutive 6 years. 2 students has achieved top score in Beijing. In 1998, our lowest mark for entrance of senior high school was the second highest in Haidian District.Recently, the Attached High School of Capital Normal University has welcomed its 85 anniversary. We have achieved satisfactory results in all educational aspects.
