Four Hanban Scholarship Winners Enrolled

    Confucius Intstitutions are nonprofit education institutions founded with the cooperation of domestic and oversea organizations. They aim at meeting the needs of learning Chinese all around the world, deepening the understanding of Chinese language and culture worldwide, enforcing the cooperation and communication on education and cultures between China and foreign countries, developing friendly relationships, cultivating diversity  of the global village and setting up a harmonious world. To support the Confucius Institutions (classes), National Hanban and Confucius Institution Headquarter set up Confucius Institution Scholarship this year, offering 3,000 positions to encourage and help well-rounded student and Chinese language teachers worldwide to study Chinese language and culture in China.

    As the Base of Chinese Language Promotion, with the support of the officials and teachers, two students enrolled in our school last semester. There are four newcomers this year. They are Guo Liwen from Germany (1-year scholarship), Antonio from Colombia (1-year scholarship), Liyuan Wanli from Japan (6-month scholarship) and Li Zhiwen from Lao  (6-month scholarship). They are studying in Grade 10 and Grade 11 of High School CNU-Dwight Program.
